Mysterious Sticker (SOLD OUT)
Mysterious Sticker (SOLD OUT)
This sticker is based on something I saw in a tunnel while riding the Mail Rail a few years ago. The Mail Rail was 6 miles of railway track that operated under London from 1927 to 2003. Its tiny trains carried letters and parcels around for 22 hours each day and the place has been left exactly how it was on the last day it ran. Scrawled on the wall of one of the tunnels was: "No legs, No fields, No time to help."
When I asked them, the museum staff said that it was graffiti from the men who used to work down there when the railway was in operation. Apparently there’s lots more graffiti that cannot be seen from the train ride, including a badly drawn unicorn at one junction.
So what does it mean? Who knows! I went back recently and couldn’t spot it so maybe it was all a dream. Big recommendation for the Mail Rail and the Postal Museum.
Measures 3cm x 5cm and made from transparent vinyl.
