Treasures is a collection of pins designed by Mink, drawn from the archive of the British Library's Treasures Gallery & beyond.
The pieces range from 1500 to 1916 and are inspired by manuscripts, prints, and other works from Iran, India, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Ireland & the UK.They're made to be treasured as gems from literary and cultural history.
♦ Harry Clarke Painting
Based on an illustration by Harry Clarke from Hans Christian Andersen’s Fairytales, published in 1916.
35mm high gold plated pin with 3D molding and a screenprinted panel. Backstamped with collaboration logo.
♦ Mandolin
Based on a detail from the binding of the Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám, 1884.
42.5mm wide gold plated pin with black enamel and white enamel mixed with pearl powder. Backstamped with collaboration logo.

Based on a detail from a Flemish Book of Hours, also known as the London Rothschild Hours, created in the Netherlands circa 1500.

Based on the Reader’s Note from the British Library’s complete copy of Shakespeare’s First Folio, printed in London in 1623.

Based on a detail from the front binding of La sainte Bible du Vieux et du Nouveau Testament, produced in Switzerland circa 1731.

Based on a c.1760 print from Mughal India.
